About Me
Why I Became a Counsellor
Losing my mum to cancer was one of the most challenging times of my life. In my grief, I found healing and purpose through working with Cruse Bereavement Support, where I helped others through their loss. It was a privilege to be there for people in their darkest moments, and it showed me how powerful proper support can be. This experience inspired me to train as a counsellor and continue helping others navigate grief and trauma.
I specialise in assisting people to navigate the complex and often overwhelming effects of trauma. I believe healing begins with a safe and compassionate space where you can indeed be heard and understood. My approach to trauma therapy is warm, collaborative, and deeply empathetic, allowing us to work together at a pace that feels right for you.

Having worked with individuals facing a wide range of life challenges, I understand how trauma can disrupt every aspect of life—your relationships, your sense of safety, and even your connection to yourself. I aim to help you make sense of these experiences, regain control, and move towards a more grounded and whole life. Using evidence-based practices, mindfulness, breathwork and a person-centred approach, we’ll explore your story together, building resilience and uncovering strengths you might not yet see in yourself.
